Speak out

So I had a phone conference meeting with an outside vendor today. Being that I'm young and still have a lot to learn, I refrain from speaking out because I don't want to look like a newb. So i'm sitting her listening to the discussion and in my head i'm thinking 'well I think if we did this, it might solve what we've ben talking about for the last half hour" but i bite my tongue and don't say much. So the phone conference wraps up and things are still unresolved and we re-schedule for another meeting. 20 minutes later, I get an email proposing we do exactly what I was thinking but didn't say at the meeting. And then low and behold, issue resolved.

Anyway the moral of the story is say what you want to say when you want to say it. You probably know just as much as the other guy.
